Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion. Fear Free desired. Communicate clearly with clients, including care instructions and status updates Perform technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement. Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.Maintain & sterilize surgical instruments/equipmentClean/Disinfect cages, kennels, exam and treatment areas of hospitalAnswer phones, schedule appointments, follow up communications with clients Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times. Qualifications At least 2 years of veterinary experience is required. Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions. Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines. Empathy: Ability to hold sensitive, emotional conversations with care. Communication skills: Clear, professional, and compassionate interpersonal style. Organization: Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
