About the role

As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in patient care, support the medical team, enhance client experiences, and maintain a safe, clean clinic environment. This position allows you to focus on meaningful work in a collaborative setting with opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on patient care, ensuring animals are treated with compassion and respect.
• Support veterinarians and technicians by anticipating their needs and maintaining an efficient workflow.
• Assist with client scheduling, payments, and communications to create a seamless visit experience.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and equipment to uphold high standards of care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Confidence and skill in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills (e.g., laboratory, pharmacy, nursing, radiology) is a strong asset.
