About the role
We're seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant-Technician to join our close-knit, low-turnover team in Hinesburg, Vermont.
Responsibilities
- Patient care and client education
- Absisting in exams, treatments, and procedures
- Anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
- Laboratory work, sample collection, and diagnostics
- Maintaining a smooth, efficient day for both patients and team members
Requirements
- Veterinary Technician experience preferred (licensure a plus)
- A team-focused mindset and positive attitude
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- A desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive practice
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT)
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques and diagnostic procedures
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
