About the role

Veterinary Assistant Technician in Baxter, MN. Animal Care Center is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join a collaborative 3-doctor team in the Brainerd Lakes Area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring procedures
• Manage dedicated technician appointments
• Play an integral role in assisting CSRs, technicians, and doctors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a veterinary setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification
• Basic knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Pay

Pay Range: $16-19 per hour based on experience

Schedule

Full-time technicians are scheduled either four days or five days each week and enjoy a full one-hour lunch break every shift. After-hours emergency on-call program available on weekends.
