What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping accurate medical records and helping answer client questions
- Prepping patients for exams and surgeries
- Administering medications as directed
- Assisting with lab testing (blood, fecal, urine, etc.)
- Cleaning and sanitizing surgical tools, kennels, and exam areas
- Monitoring post-op patients and reporting any changes
- Safely restraining patients during exams and procedures
- Helping educate pet parents on meds, treatments, and care
- Pricing collaborating with Credentialed Technicians and DVMs to provide top-tier care
Qualifications
- Loves animals (obviously)
- A calm, steady presence
- Great communicator and works well with clients and teammates
- Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable
- Cool under pressure and thrives in a busy hospital setting
- Eager to learn and grow in your role
- Values teamwork and knows how to pitch in wherever needed
