BluePearl Summerville, SC is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Anesthesiologist to join their dedicated team. Located in a state-of-the-art hospital equipped with advanced surgical suites and diagnostic tools, this position offers a collaborative and innovative environment focused on providing comprehensive, top-tier care.

Responsibilities

• Designing and overseeing customized anesthetic protocols for a variety of complex cases.
• Providing pain management strategies tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
• Proficiency in monitoring and managing anesthesia for a wide range of surgical and critical cases.
• Collaborating closely with our surgical, internal medicine, and emergency teams.
• Training and mentoring clinicians and technicians to advance anesthesia best practices.
• Enhancing patient outcomes by ensuring the highest level of anesthetic safety and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
• Board-certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Anesthesiology (ACVAA or equivalent).
• Eligible for veterinary licensure in the applicable state.
• Expertise in anesthesia protocols, pain management, and perioperative care.
