Veterinarian - Surgeon

About the role

Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center in Conshohocken, PA, affiliated with BluePearl, is seeking a full time or part time boarded Veterinarian Surgeon or an individual residency-trained in surgery to join their new state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with specialists, ER doctors, residents, and interns to provide comprehensive care
• Utilize advanced equipment including a Toshiba 64-slice CT scanner, fluoroscopy C-arm, laparoscopic, thorascopic and arthroscopic towers
• Participate in a robust continuing education program to maintain relationships with referring primary care veterinarians
• Work in a supportive environment with clinical independence and access to a local operations management team
• Engage in collegial case collaboration with specialists and support teams

Requirements

• Board certification in surgery or residency training in surgery
• Experience in emergency and specialty care preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Pennsylvania
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
