Veterinarian- Springwood Veterinary Hospital

Springwood Veterinary Hospital is a busy, established general-practice clinic with 35+ years serving Spring/Klein. We offer a 3-day work week, a diverse caseload of wellness, medical, dental, surgical, and urgent/walk-in cases, and a path to medical leadership for the right associate.

About the role

• Practice high-quality general medicine and surgery in a vet-owned, collaborative environment.
• See a mix of scheduled wellness visits and same-day urgent/walk-in cases without a traditional urgent-care schedule.
• Build lasting client relationships with an established, loyal client base.
• Work alongside experienced, empowered technicians in a supportive team culture.
• Two Saturdays per month are required; occasional additional Saturday shifts may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine soft-tissue surgeries.
• Manage urgent and walk-in cases independently.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Develop toward a medical leadership role if interested.

Requirements

• Texas veterinary license (or eligibility).
• Experience in general practice with strong medical and surgical skills.
• Comfortable handling urgent and walk-in cases.
• Confident working independently.
• Willing to work at least one Saturday per month.
