Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for small animal patients
• Participate in surgical procedures under the supervision of senior veterinarians
• Administer medications and monitor patient recovery
• Perform dental procedures as needed
• Document patient care in electronic health records
• Communicate effectively with clients about their pets' health and treatment plans
• Contribute to a positive team culture and maintain a supportive work environment

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited institution
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Alabama
• Experience in small animal medicine and surgery preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passing scores on the AVMA core exams or equivalent
