About the role

We are seeking a full-time boarded, or residency-trained Ophthalmologist to join our talented team at BluePearl Pet Hospital in Oak Creek, WI. Our hospital provides the highest quality of comprehensive care to our clients and their pets and is committed to excellence in service and veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive ophthalmic care to a variety of species
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in ongoing professional development and education
• Contribute to the hospital’s mission of providing exceptional care and service

Requirements

• Board certification or residency training in veterinary ophthalmology
• Experience in both general and advanced ophthalmic procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Wisconsin
• Passing scores on the North American Board of Veterinary Specialties (NABVS) examination
