About the role
BluePearl Auburn Hills is seeking a full-time boarded or residency-trained Ophthalmologist Veterinarian to join our team. Our hospital serves the areas of Auburn Hills, Pontiac, Rochester Hills, and Troy. Services include 24/7 emergency medicine, dermatology, internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology, and diagnostic imaging. The 10,000-square-foot hospital opened in 2003 and is equipped with advanced equipment including a diode laser, CT scanner, and digital radiography.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of a wide range of ocular conditions
- Collaboration with other specialists within the hospital
- Participation in continuing education and professional development
- Assisting in the management of the hospital's operations
Requirements
- Board certification or residency training in veterinary medicine
- Experience in ophthalmic care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Michigan
