Veterinarian - Ohana Urgent Care

About the Role

Ohana Pet Hospitals is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our growing team in Ventura County, California. As part of our collaborative 12-doctor team, you'll practice in a supportive, AAHA-accredited environment where same-day medicine, teamwork, and exceptional client care come together. Our urgent care service bridges the gap between general practice and emergency medicine, allowing you to manage a diverse caseload while maintaining an outstanding work-life balance. What You'll Do

As an Urgent Care Veterinarian, you'll primarily see:

• Same-day illness and injury appointments
• Urgent medical cases requiring immediate attention
• Non-critical emergency presentations
• Soft tissue emergency procedures including gastrointestinal foreign bodies, urethral obstructions, abscesses, and laceration repairs

You'll work alongside an experienced team of veterinarians and skilled support staff who value collaboration, mentorship, and high-quality medicine.

Schedule

• Full-time schedule of 3–4 shifts per week

Requirements

• DVM or VMD
• Active California veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license (or ability to obtain)

Pay

Salary range: $130,000 – $165,000 annually. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
