About the role

We are seeking an experienced veterinarian to join our team at Newport Animal Hospital. Established in 1953, we provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to the pets of our community, including our satellite location in Hoboken, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Tailor medical care to meet the unique needs of each pet
• Perform surgeries and dental procedures
• Provide preventive care and vaccinations
• Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from an AVMA accredited school
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in New Jersey
• Experience in small animal medicine and surgery
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
