Veterinarian - New Palestine, IN

About the role

New Palestine Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA and Fear Free certified practice in New Palestine, IN just outside of Indianapolis. We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care to dogs and cats
• Participate in digital radiographs, dental radiographs, ultrasound, and therapeutic laser treatments
• Work closely with a team of two technicians and three RVTs for optimal patient care
• Enjoy a doctor-to-staff ratio of two technicians to one doctor, including three RVTs
• Benefit from a flexible schedule with a regular day off during the week
• Have the option to work on records remotely if preferred

Requirements

• A DVM degree from an AVMA accredited school
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Indiana
• Experience in general veterinary practice
• Proven skills in preventative care and emergency medicine
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Passing scores on the North American Veterinary Licensing Exam (NAVLE)
• Experience with Fear Free techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development

• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
