About the role

Kelley Animal Hospital in Lexington, MN, is seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative and supportive team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to a diverse range of animals
• Participate in daily rounds and collaborate with the team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Perform routine and complex medical procedures, including surgeries and dental treatments
• Assist with the care of hospitalized patients and manage their care plans
• Collaborate with the hospital’s leadership team to develop and implement new policies and procedures
• Mentor new graduates and assist with their onboarding process

Requirements

• Current North American Veterinary Licensing Exam (NAVLE) or North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) score
• Experience in small animal medicine and surgery preferred, but not required for new graduates
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for providing exceptional patient care and building strong relationships with clients

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• License to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Minnesota
• Current CPR certification

Pay

Schedule

Preferred incoming schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Open to discussing the hours per week and customized schedules. Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
