About the role
Meredith Place Veterinary Emergency is seeking a Lead Veterinarian / Lead DVM to join our dedicated team of emergency and urgent care specialists. With more than 14 years of service to the Meredith and Lakes Region communities, we offer a comprehensive range of services including urgent care, emergency surgery, and compassionate end-of-life care.
Responsibilities
- Guide the medical direction of the emergency and urgent care team
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care in a state-of-the-art emergency animal hospital
- Collaborate with a skilled and highly trained team to ensure the highest standard of patient care
- Support team development and workflow optimization
- Shape the hospital's continued growth and strategic direction
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in New Hampshire
- Experience in emergency and urgent care
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medicine
- Passionate about animal welfare and client care
