About the role

We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our multi-doctor practice in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills of Northern California. Our practice is dedicated to providing high-quality small animal care while fostering a collaborative, family-oriented culture for our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to small animals
• Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure patient care
• Engage in preventive care, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care services
• Enjoy a walk-in and same-day urgent care environment
• Participate in regular shadowing and one-on-one surgical training
• Support community organizations through volunteer efforts

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited school
• Current California Veterinary Practice License
• Experience in small animal medicine preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

A pro-salary compensation model with a salary of $130,000 - $160,000 (based on experience & schedule)

Schedule

Ideal schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Opportunity for 1–2 surgery days per week

Flexible scheduling with 1–2 days off each week
