- 2 surgical suites
- A spacious treatment area
- Separate dog and cat wards, including an indoor run area for large dogs
- No after-hours or on-call responsibilities.
- A 4-day work week and no weekend hours.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Veterinarian who is interested in taking the next step in their career and potentially leading our team.
Responsibilities
- Taking care of a diverse caseload of small animals
- Performing routine and complex medical procedures
- Assisting with surgeries and other advanced treatments
- Maintaining excellent client communication and building long-term relationships
- Participating in staff meetings and team activities
Requirements
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Maine
- Experience in small animal medicine and surgery
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Graduation from an AVMA accredited veterinary school
- Passing scores on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
