About the role

BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in Rockville, MD is seeking a Veterinary Critical Care Specialist to join our team. We are a multispecialty hospital with multiple specialists in each field.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care services to hospitalized patients
• Collaborate with other specialists and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Participate in monthly informal topic rounds and other in-house CE opportunities
• Contribute to the development of new services and technologies within the hospital

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited school
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Maryland
• Experience in critical care and/or emergency medicine
• Board certification in Critical Care preferred

• Strong clinical skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure

• Passionate about veterinary medicine and animal welfare

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule is typically 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays.
