About the role

Bayside Animal Hospital is seeking a passionate and dedicated veterinarian to join our fun and energetic two-doctor team. Supported by a skilled staff of technicians and assistants, we provide high-quality care for our patients and build lasting, trusted relationships with our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care to a variety of animals
• Perform routine and complex medical procedures under the supervision of experienced veterinarians
• Mentor new graduates through our structured mentorship program
• Participate in community outreach programs, such as discounted surgeries for local animal shelters

Requirements

• Current DVM degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Valid Maryland Veterinary Practice License
• Experience in general practice preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Passionate about veterinary medicine and building strong client-veterinarian relationships
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working with a variety of species and breeds
