About the role
Carlsbad Animal Clinic in Carlsbad, NM is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our practice. Exotics caseload potential.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex medical and surgical procedures
- Provide compassionate care to patients and their owners
- Contribute to a positive team environment
- Participate in continuing education opportunities
- Manage caseload efficiently
- Support the exotics caseload if interested
Requirements
- Current North Carolina license or eligible for licensure
- Experience in small animal practice preferred but not required
- Passing score on the AVMA accredited licensing examination
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an ACVIM accredited program
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Strong clinical skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Good interpersonal skills
