About the Role

We are seeking a Medical Director to lead our compassionate and efficient small-animal hospital. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for patient care and long-term client relationships, along with a collaborative and supportive approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead the medical department, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with veterinary standards
• Develop and implement protocols for medical procedures and treatments
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall practice operations
• Provide mentorship and guidance to associate veterinarians
• Manage the medical staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain excellent client relations

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university
• Experience in a leadership role within a veterinary practice
• Strong communication and client-education skills
• Compassionate, client-centered approach to care
