About the role

Join Lakewood Veterinary Hospital, a cornerstone of compassionate small animal care serving the Lakewood, Colorado community since 1969. As a full-service clinic, you will engage with varied and rewarding caseloads covering comprehensive Pet Wellness & Prevention, Testing & Diagnostics, sophisticated Surgical Procedures, and necessary Emergency Care. You will practice high-level small animal medicine in a facility dedicated to excellent outcomes, supported by a stable team of four experienced DVMs, a Hospital Manager, and a dedicated Partnered Radiology Specialist (DACVR).

This role offers the stability and resources to focus on patient care and professional fulfillment, with opportunities to utilize Advanced Care protocols daily and benefit from internal consultations.

Responsibilities

  • Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets, becoming their trusted partner in lifelong health.
  • Lead patient care from diagnosis to treatment, upholding the highest medical standards.
  • Educate and empower clients by clearly communicating findings and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a supportive paraprofessional team to foster a positive hospital culture.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
  • Valid state license in good standing to practice.
  • Collaborative spirit and dedication to practicing the highest standard of medicine.
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive, friendly attitude.
