About the role

Varina Veterinary Clinic is a 33-year-old small animal general practice located in Richmond, VA. We are part of Community Veterinary Partners (CVP).

Responsibilities

• Care for a variety of small animal patients under the supervision of the hospital director.
• Perform routine and complex medical procedures, including surgeries.
• Provide preventive care and wellness services.
• Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure the best possible care for each patient.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• A DVM degree from an AVMA accredited school.
• Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Virginia.
• Experience in small animal practice preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Passing scores on the AVMA core exams.
• Knowledge of current veterinary practices and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
