Responsibilities
- Drafting pleadings, discovery, and legal correspondence
- Developing litigation strategies to help clients achieve their goals
- Reviewing and investigating legal claims
- Conducting legal research and writing, including complaints, discovery, briefs, and letters
- Appearing for court and depositions
- Negotiating settlements with opposing counsel and clients
- Reporting to firm management
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited law school
- Admission to the State Bar of Nevada
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Commitment to ethical practice
- Attention to detail
- Values high quality work and intellectual curiosity
