Position Purpose

Cielo Grande Veterinary Center is a busy, two-doctor practice in Roswell, NM looking for an Associate Veterinarian of any experience level to join our team. We’re fast-paced, collaborative, and focused on providing high-quality medicine in a supportive environment where you can grow quickly and stay challenged in all the right ways.

About the Role

Cielo Grande Veterinary Center is the highest rated veterinary hospital in Chaves County! We primarily focus on companion animals, but won’t turn away an animal in need. In order to serve our community, we take scheduled wellness and sick appointments while also always making urgent care services available.

Responsibilities

• Manage a wide variety of cases in-house, giving you the chance to build real confidence in diagnostics, treatment planning, and procedural skills early and often.
• Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a supportive team that genuinely enjoys teaching and working together.
• Provide high-quality client education and care in a community-focused clinic.
• Take scheduled wellness and sick appointments, as well as offer urgent care services.
• Utilize modern, high-performing technology to support a wide range of services across diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in New Mexico.
• Experience in general small animal medicine preferred, but not required.
• Exotic animal experience is welcomed.

Pay

Pay Range: USD $115,000.00 - USD $135,000.00 /Yr.
