Job Details
Practice: Since June of 1982, The Southside Veterinary Clinic has been here serving Bixby, Broken Arrow, Glenpool, Haskell, Jenks, Mounds, and the surrounding communities.
- We are equipped to provide dog or cat wellness care, dental cleaning, x-rays, and routine spay and neuter as well as other surgeries.
- We also provide high rated boarding services at our onsite kennel.

Essential Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical care for companion animals
- Perform physical exams, diagnostics, surgery, and treatment plans
- Interpret diagnostic tests and develop appropriate care plans
- Educate clients on preventive care and treatment options
- Deliver compassionate guidance through all stages of a pet's life, including end-of-life care
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Practice in accordance with veterinary ethics and medical standards
Requirements/Qualifications
- Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited program
- Active Oklahoma veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Collaborative, positive, and professional approach to patient care
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger patients or equipment as needed
