As a veterinarian at Heartland Veterinary Partners, you will provide quality care to patients and empathetic service to clients. You will partner with other veterinarians, technicians, and client service representatives to operate as an efficient and productive team.

Job Details

Practice: Southside Veterinary Center in Moultrie, GA, is a full-service veterinary center for companion and farm animals.

• Offer a full range of services, including wellness exams and vaccinations, preventive care and consults, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and early detection and management of chronic diseases.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care for companion animals
• Perform physical exams, diagnostics, surgery, and treatment plans
• Interpret diagnostic tests and develop appropriate care plans
• Educate clients on preventive care and treatment options
• Deliver compassionate guidance through all stages of a pet's life, including end-of-life care
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Practice in accordance with veterinary ethics and medical standards

Requirements/Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited program
• Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Collaborative, positive, and professional approach to patient care
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger patients or equipment as needed

Pay Range

USD $115,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
