This position serves as the field team lead, providing functional direction to field staff and acting as the primary point of escalation for customer, vet, or store partner issues. The role also involves driving company vehicles to vaccination clinics and ensuring the overall performance and operational compliance of the day’s clinics.

Responsibilities
- Provide functional direction and supervision to field team.
- Perform functions of all clinic team roles and provide coaching where necessary; may fill one or more roles at a time.
- Safely operate company-supplied vehicle to and from clinic locations and office when assigned as driver.
- Effectively communicate with customers and business partners to manage difficult situations, including pet incidents (bites, reactions, and emergencies).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Market Manager on clinic-related issues.
- Liaise with leadership at clinic locations to determine optimal setup, crowd management practices, and issue resolution.
- Ensure all clinic processes are followed and paperwork is completed accurately.
- Facilitate a sales-focused environment by leading targeted discussions during daily commutes.
- Ensure proper handling of all revenues, including deposits to safe or bank.
- Assist customers in completing paperwork for accurate medical records.
- Manage crowd control, clean up pet waste, and handle disruptive pets.
- Offer discounts to customers experiencing disruptive or unpleasant experiences.
- Safely load and unload equipment and supplies from company vehicles.
- Assist in training new partners according to the training plan.
- Understand and communicate Vetco medical recommendations, booster schedules, and products.
- Build cooperative relationships with store management to drive business success.
- Present a report card and site report to the MOD at the conclusion of the clinic; obtain gross sales receipts or SKU movement reports.
- Ensure the clinic area is clean and no trash, sharps, or equipment is left behind.
- Notify the store if the clinic team is running late.
- Perform end-of-clinic and end-of-day reconciliation of equipment and supplies.
- Escalate clinic issues to the Market Manager, Store Manager, or Vetco Customer Service via the incident reporting process.
- Complete all required paperwork and checklists accurately.
- Restock rig supplies and product bins at the end of the day.
- Participate in company and sponsor-facilitated training on products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Complete Clinic Lead reports for each shift.
Requirements
- Must be able to perform all clinic job roles.
- Possess outstanding customer service skills, an aptitude for basic sales techniques, and an interest in animals.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities and/or experience.
- Ability to operate company vehicles.
- Effectively communicate, provide functional direction, and resolve difficult situations independently.
- Comfortable handling and restraining animals within company policy.
- Existing partners applying must be in good standing.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Work Environment
- The majority of job duties are conducted indoors.
- Passenger vehicle travel is required to commute to work locations; overnight travel may be required in some locations.
- Position requires bending, kneeling, moving equipment (up to 40 pounds), and standing for long periods, which may pose a risk of injury if improper procedures are followed.
Pay
Salary Range: $16.75 - $23.00 hourly. Actual pay rates depend on factors such as position, location, level of experience, and applicable state or local minimum wage laws. If the regulatory minimum wage exceeds the indicated range, the regulatory minimum wage will apply.
