Responsibilities
- Affirms patients and develops and initiates treatment plans based on evaluation results.
- Reviews patient’s condition and medical records to determine physical therapy treatment required.
- Provides direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines.
- Documents findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
- Holds responsibility for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
- Completes a written plan of care, develops goals based on evaluation findings, and develops a comprehensive program to attain goals.
- Implements physical therapy treatment program and provides essential physical therapy treatments.
- Communicates effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies.
- Ensures timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited college with an APTA curriculum.
- One or more years of outpatient orthopedic experience within a private clinic or hospital preferred.
- Currently registered and licensed in the state of Nevada and CPR certified.
- Outgoing and energetic personality.
- Experience in exercise and manual-based skills, McKenzie skilled, and sports rehabilitation.

Pay
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
Schedule
Flexible Schedule: 4 10-hr days or 5 8-hr days.
