About the role
The Verification of Benefits Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all benefits provided to employees are accurate and up-to-date. This includes processing benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations, as well as communicating with employees about their benefits.
Responsibilities
- Process new benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate with employees regarding their benefits, including open enrollment periods, changes in coverage, and other relevant information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations related to employee benefits.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of all benefit transactions and communications.
- Respond to inquiries from employees and managers regarding benefits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a benefits administration role.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare and/or group insurance benefits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other relevant employment laws.
- Experience with benefits management software.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
