Verification Loan Officer (VLO)

Key Responsibilities

• Review and explain all contract documents, including sales agreements, loan applications and credit applications, to clients in a clear and comprehensible manner.
• Verify the accuracy of all information provided by clients and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with sales representatives and other team members to facilitate the smooth completion of sales transactions.
• Answer any questions or concerns raised by clients regarding the contract documents or loan terms.
• Aid clients in completing necessary paperwork and obtaining required signatures.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity throughout the document review and verification process.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the verification process.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years previous Loan Verification and/or Quality Assurance experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to spot discrepancies.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and other relevant software applications.
• A professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Currently commissioned as a Missouri Notary Public or able to become commissioned.
• Willing to work various schedules; including extended hours, nights, weekends and/or holidays.
