About the role
The Verification Engineer - New College Grad position at NVIDIA is part of a team pushing the frontiers of computing. Responsibilities include verifying the design and implementation of memory subsystems and coherent high-speed interconnects for mobile SoCs and GPUs. The role involves architecting testbench environments, developing verification infrastructure, executing test/coverage plans, and ensuring the correctness of designs.
Responsibilities
- Verify the design and implementation of memory subsystems and coherent high-speed interconnects
- Develop verification infrastructure including testbenches, bitstream functionals (BFMs), checkers, monitors
- Execute test/coverage plans and ensure the correctness of designs
- Collaborate with architects, designers, emulation, and silicon verification teams
Requirements
- Completing or recently completed a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Experience in architecting testbench environments for unit level verification
- Exposure to verification using random stimulus along with functional coverage and assertion-based verification methodologies
- Prior design or verification experience of dynamic memory controllers or coherent high-speed interconnects
- C++ programming language experience, scripting ability, and expertise in System Verilog
- Exposure to design and verification tools such as VCS or equivalent simulation tools, debug tools like Debussy, GDB
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Benefits
NVIDIA offers competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $100,000 - $166,750 for Level 1 and $116,000 - $189,750 for Level 2, depending on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. Additionally, employees are eligible for equity and benefits.

$116,000 - $189,750 for Level 2
