Senior Hardware Verification Engineer Join a highly engineering-focused technology organization developing custom hardware solutions for low-latency, high-performance computing environments. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with hardware and software engineers on complex ASIC and FPGA platforms while helping shape the next generation of performance-critical systems.Unlike large, process-heavy organizations, this team operates with a high degree of autonomy and ownership. Engineers are expected to be hands-on, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where requirements and solutions evolve quickly. What You'll Do Develop and maintain block-level and system-level verification environments for complex digital designs.Collaborate closely with hardware and software engineers throughout the development lifecycle.Create automated verification and regression frameworks to support rapid development and testing cycles.Perform deep debugging and root-cause analysis, identifying whether issues originate from the testbench, RTL, or broader system.Drive coverage closure using metrics-based verification methodologies.Contribute to validation efforts spanning simulation, silicon bring-up, and system-level testing.Participate in architecture and design discussions, providing verification-focused input early in the development process.Work within a small engineering team where individuals are encouraged to take ownership beyond traditional role boundaries. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.4+ years of experience verifying complex ASIC or FPGA-based digital designs.Strong experience with UVM and SystemVerilog.Experience developing reusable verification components and scalable testbenches.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in complex hardware environments.Experience with regression management, coverage analysis, and verification closure.Familiarity with commercial EDA verification tools.Experience working in Linux-based development environments.Scripting experience with Python, Tcl, Bash, or similar languages. Preferred Qualifications Experience with gate-level simulation (GLS).Experience supporting post-silicon validation or bring-up of new devices.Understanding of processor architectures such as RISC-V, x86, ARM, or similar.Previous experience in a design engineering role.Exposure to C++ development.Experience working on performance-sensitive compute, networking, accelerator, or embedded hardware platforms. What Makes Someone Successful Here Thrives in smaller teams with significant ownership and accountability.Comfortable operating with ambiguity rather than highly defined processes.Enjoys collaborating across disciplines and solving problems wherever they arise.Able to work independently while remaining highly collaborative.Interested in contributing beyond strict verification responsibilities when needed.
