About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's supply chain operations, ensuring efficient logistics and timely delivery of materials.
Responsibilities
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Plan and execute inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth material flow and meet production schedules.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks and disruptions in the supply chain.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management.
- Proven ability to manage complex supply chains and negotiate contracts.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Experience with supply chain software and tools such as SAP, Oracle SCM, or similar.
- Understanding of international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
