About the role
As a Venue Merchandise Seller, you will be responsible for managing a point of sale area in venues where artist merchandise is sold. You will ensure a positive customer experience, manage cash transactions, and maintain the venue's sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an excellent customer experience by providing prompt and thorough service
- Process purchases using the POS system accurately
- Handle guest credit/debit card transactions appropriately
- Prepare the merchandise display before the event
- Count and return merchandise after the event
- Aid fans with merchandise information and sizing
- Work in a fast-paced, loud environment
- Participate in the venue's sustainability program
Requirements
- Ability to work up to 12 hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs using proper lifting techniques
- Standing for long periods of time
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills
- Cash handling experience
- Prior relatable experience is a plus

Benefits
The expected compensation for this position is $17.60 USD - $22.00 USD hourly. Pay is based on market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
Schedule
Hours are flexible and depend on the venue schedule.
