About the role

As a Venue Merchandise Seller, you will be responsible for managing a point of sale area in venues where artist merchandise is sold. You will ensure a positive customer experience, manage cash transactions, and maintain the venue's sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an excellent customer experience by providing prompt and thorough service
• Process purchases using the POS system accurately
• Handle guest credit/debit card transactions appropriately
• Prepare the merchandise display before the event
• Count and return merchandise after the event
• Aid fans with merchandise information and sizing
• Work in a fast-paced, loud environment
• Participate in the venue's sustainability program

Requirements

• Ability to work up to 12 hours per shift
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs using proper lifting techniques
• Standing for long periods of time
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills
• Cash handling experience
• Prior relatable experience is a plus

Benefits

The expected compensation for this position is $17.60 USD - $22.00 USD hourly. Pay is based on market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.

Hours are flexible and depend on the venue schedule.
