You'll be working alongside a community that's shaping the future of business!

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Venue Partnerships & Relations Manager to be the heart of our in-person events across North America. This remote, part-time position is all about relationship-building and logistics. You'll keep our current venue partners happy, scout fresh new spaces in exciting cities, and ensure smooth operations day-to-day.

What You'll Do

  • Be the Face of the Network: Act as the primary point of contact for venues across the US and Canada, nurturing great relationships with our existing partners so they love working with us.
  • Own the Calendar: Drive day-to-day venue operations, confirming availability, aligning logistics, and making sure every venue is briefed and event-ready.
  • Scout & Discover: Research, identify, and pitch new venues in target cities to help expand our footprint as our community grows.
  • Negotiate & Lock it In: Handle the business side of things by negotiating rates, reviewing terms, and managing bookings and cancellations.
  • Curate the Database: Build and maintain an organized, up-to-date database of venue contacts, pricing, capacity, amenities, and past performance.
  • Save the Day: Troubleshoot venue-related hiccups calmly and efficiently, escalating only when absolutely necessary, so our events run flawlessly.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with the events and community team to ensure the venue perfectly matches the vibe of the event.

Who You Are

  • Experience: You have 1-3 years of experience in event management, hospitality, or venue relations.
  • A Natural Negotiator: You're comfortable asking for the best rates and favorable terms while keeping the relationship positive and professional.
  • A Remote Self-Starter: You thrive in an autonomous environment and can manage your own time effectively.
  • Detail-Obsessed: You take pride in being highly organized. Nothing slips through the cracks on your watch.

Why You'll Love This Role

  • Flexibility: A part-time, remote schedule that respects your work-life balance.
  • Networking: Build connections across North America.
  • Autonomy: Take ownership of the venue process without being micromanaged.
