Responsibilities

• Facilitate food and beverage service to each guest in an expedient, professional, and courteous manner.
• Set up lounge chairs with covers and towels, provide water service, and maintain a clean pool deck.
• Arrive at the scheduled start time in appropriate, neat, and pressed uniform.
• Collect and set up any necessary equipment, including all side-work.
• Set up all lounge chairs with covers and towels; assist with opening and moving umbrellas.
• Clean up and reset used lounge chairs.
• Know all menus and assist servers with orders and food delivery.
• Serve guests according to established standards.
• Keep workstation clean at all times.
• Read all memos and maintain a positive, professional attitude toward guests and co-workers.
• Operate InfoGenesis proficiently.
• Report to the Restaurant Manager before ending your work shift.
• Act as an ambassador of Enchantment by speaking positively of the resort at all times.
• Foster teamwork and mutual service by assisting coworkers and other departments to exceed guest expectations.
• Know the resort layout and work efficiently as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work well with or without direct supervision.
• Must be neat and well-groomed at all times.
• Flexible, self-motivated, positive, and professional attitude toward guests, coworkers, and management.
• Must maintain current food handler’s certification.
• Prior serving experience is helpful.
• English skills necessary to communicate with guests.
• Computer skills are helpful.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 45 lbs (50% of the time).
• Walking (25% of the time).
• Bending and lifting (25% of the time).
• Standing for extended periods.
• Hearing and manual dexterity.
• Distance vision of 1-3 feet.
• Use of cleaning solutions.
