About the V&A M+C Team The global Ventures & Acquisitions (V&A) Marketing + Communications (M+C) team partners with Accenture’s business and M+C teams, as well as acquired companies, to deliver on acquisition strategies and business cases, foster cohesion, and inspire our teams so that we are truly better together. About The Role As part of Accenture’s global M+C Deal Phase team, you will lead the M+C workstream during the due diligence phase of acquisitions, including announcement communications, primarily in Americas. Key Responsibilities You will work across multiple deals simultaneously, serving as the overall PMO for each deal until handover to the M+C post-merger integration (PMI) lead. Key Responsibilities Include Adhering to best practices outlined in the deal phase playbook Ensuring disciplined project management and enforcing confidentiality undefinedLeading due diligence activities, including completing analyses, providing status updates, facilitating a due diligence workshop with the target company, and presenting M+C findingsIdentifying M+C teams impacted by the deal and hosting weekly status calls for each acquisition with those teamsEngaging with deal sponsors and M+C teams to develop core messages explaining the rationale for each acquisitionWorking with the Brand team on the brand transition plan and presenting it to business sponsorsManaging the creation of an integrated communications plan that maximizes opportunities and reduces risk, and coordinating announcement preparationundefinedCoordinating the approval of all communications deliverablesundefinedPreparing the team for a seamless handover to the PMI team and identifying areas that may require specific focus during integrationundefinedPositioning V&A M+C as a strategic expert partner that provides guidance and delivers best practices for successful M+C deal diligence and acquisition announcements Basic Qualifications Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing and communications Preferred Skills Qualifications Proven project management skills, with the ability to meet milestones and tight deadlines and communicate status across concurrent projectsManaging multiple stakeholders to deliver on time and in line with best practicesexperience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) would be advantageousManaging and influencing senior stakeholdersDeveloping clear, compelling key messagesFinding and implementing solutions to complex business challengesWorking as part of a remote/hybrid team, preferably in a global roleStrong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively at all levels to multiple audiencesStrong negotiation, influencing, mediation, conflict management, and executive stakeholder management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and changing environmentAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workloads and activitiesundefinedStrong attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex informationundefinedCultural awareness and sensitivity when working across countriesundefinedWillingness, when needed, to participate in virtual meetings outside regular business hours to accommodate other time zones Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
