About the role
Responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude; will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising. As a DSD Clerk, you'll be the first point of contact for our vendor partners, ensuring deliveries are accurate, inventory is accounted for, and our receiving area stays organized and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify vendor deliveries for grocery, beverage, bread, dairy, frozen, floral, and other direct store delivery products.
- Accurately reconcile invoices, deliveries, credits, and returns.
- Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies with vendors and store leadership.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper receiving and documentation.
- Keep the receiving dock and backroom organized, clean, and safe.
- Build positive relationships with our vendor partners while providing outstanding customer service.
- Support shrink reduction through accurate receiving practices.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
- Assist with additional backroom and receiving responsibilities as business needs require.

Schedule
- Early morning availability is required, with shifts beginning as early as 5:00 AM.
- Weekend and holiday availability may be required based on business needs.
