About the role

The Vendor Operations Lead supports the onboarding, maintenance, and monitoring of vendors across services such as business development, insurance, UCC filings, Know-Your-Customer (KYC), and warranty support. This role operates independently, ensuring contract and documentation accuracy, vendor compliance, and process efficiency while partnering cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with Originations and internal teams to onboard and manage vendors.
  • Performs monthly quality assurance and compliance audits.
  • Provides operational support across platform during periods of low demand.
  • Drafts and reviews vendor agreements and amendments in accordance with company policy.
  • Develops and maintains standard templates, playbooks, and procedural documentation.
  • Maintains document library and ensures proper document control and versioning.
  • Monitors vendor performance and ensures compliance with operational and contractual requirements.
  • Collaborates with IT to enhance dashboards and streamline onboarding processes.
  • Conducts UCC lien reviews and resolves inventory perfection issues with Operations.
  • Supports cost-per-copy setup and ensures adherence to deadlines and vendor expectations.
  • Files insurance claims and manages vendor relationships related to insurance services.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a paralegal doing transactional work in a law firm or leasing or commercial lending business (5+ years preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; work history in related field required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or related field and/or Paralegal Certificate, highly preferred.

Qualifications

University degree preferred. Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience required; 5+ years preferred.

Pay

$85,400 - $115,500
