Vendor Marketing Finance Analyst
About the role
Winsupply Sourcing Services (WSS) operates ~2 million square feet of wholesale warehouse space and offers inventory and vendor management solutions to be the premier vendor partner for our customer base of over 680 locally-owned wholesale distribution businesses nationwide. This role provides the opportunity to have a direct impact on the success of small entrepreneurial companies across the United States, particularly those that rely on WSS to improve their inventory turnover. WSS transacts with vendors and customers nearly three-quarters of a million times in a given fiscal year.
As a pivotal member of the team, you will lead the team of marketing Project Coordinators and Marketing Associates. You will lead partnerships with the team and Local Companies in managing projects, ensuring timelines are met, projects are assigned efficiently, and relationships are well maintained. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the consolidation and reporting of marketing funds at Winsupply Inc. and the location level.
- Partner with Winsupply’s preferred partners on reporting.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate marketing financial performance reports by vendor and program.
- Support each location with financial support for marketing plans.
- Analyze performance data, vendor investment, and campaign return-on-investment, while driving continuous improvement.
- Prepare clear, concise financial reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of each structure for each co-op or marketing funding for each preferred vendor of Winsupply.
- Lead support on spend compliance with vendor guidelines and contractual agreements.
- Act as the finance support for national vendor programs on CO-OP and Marketing.
- Partner with national contacts to obtain reporting and track spend, including accurate billing, funds collection, and allocation of funds.
- Support the Local Companies, Vendor Relations, events, and marketing team with financial insight and spend optimization.
- Partner with the vendors, accounting teams, and Information Technology to manage and report the status of co-op and marketing funds, including submitting and tracking the progress on CO-OP claims through vendor portals.

Qualifications
- B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. In lieu of a degree, relevant experience is considered.
- CPA or CMA licensure is a plus; experience in the wholesale industry is a plus.
