Key Responsibilities
- Metrics Development: Design, refine, and implement daily and weekly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the title department to ensure optimal productivity and accuracy.
- Performance Management & Accountability: Actively monitor daily team metrics, ensuring all 10+ employees are meeting production goals and maintaining high compliance standards.
- Team Leadership & Coaching: Provide real-time feedback, conducting regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews to help team members hit their daily targets.
- Operational Execution: Oversee daily title operations, ensuring the team seamlessly executes our established, high-performing workflows and state DMV regulations.
- Open-Minded Problem Solving: Maintain an open mind to operational adjustments, identifying gaps where team performance drops and implementing strategic coaching or minor tweaks to get metrics back on track.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between the Title department and Sales, Remarketing, Insurance, Customer Service, and other operations teams. Facilitate smooth process handoffs, resolve complex cross-functional bottlenecks, and ensure overall alignment across the business.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on vehicle title experience is strictly required. Must thoroughly understand DMV workflows, title transfers, and registration processes.
- Proven experience managing teams (10+ employees preferred) with a heavy focus on developing and enforcing daily production metrics.
- Skill in motivating a team to hit numbers without sacrificing morale. Ability to identify underperformance and coach employees up to standard.
- Experience creating and analyzing Salesforce reports, alongside advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (specifically Google Sheets for data tracking).
- Ability to work out of our Boston office 5 days a week (fully in-office role).
