Vehicle Testing Specialist

About the role

HireArt is helping our client hire a Vehicle Testing Specialist to be responsible for daily testing activities for its autonomous vehicle programs.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans on AV and ADAS development vehicles.
• Cook up and improve testing procedures together with SW engineers and operations teams.
• Provide detailed notes and formal reports of testing activities and results.
• Work with the vehicle operators to conduct testing professionally and efficiently.
• Be a safety champion for the vehicle testing programs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hardware or software testing, data entry, or similar technical experience.
• Experience with troubleshooting issues on computers or other hardware.
• Must be extremely detail-oriented.
• A collaborative mindset and deep interest in understanding the functionality of autonomy software.
• Prior experience with ADAS, autonomous vehicles, or other automotive work (Nice-to-Have).

Commitment

This is a full-time, 6-month contract position staffed via HireArt. It is onsite in Sunnyvale, CA and open to candidates local to the Bay Area.
