Vehicle Technician, Light Duty - Campus Services
Job Summary
Conducts fleet vehicle inspections. Completes light preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles, including windshield wiper replacement, electric light bulb replacement, fuse replacement, interior/exterior detailing, tire replacement, and other tasks as assigned. Utilizes the fleet information management system to record and report vehicle data. Maintains tools and equipment associated with vehicle services. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent and one year experience in fleet, parking, or transportation, or related experience.
- A valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record.
- May require a Commercial Motor Vehicle medical examiner's certificate for operating vehicles with GVWR greater than 10,001 lbs and less than 26,000 lbs (49 CFR Part 391 and Georgia Department of Driver Services regulations).
- Required to lift up to 50 lbs and perform bending, stooping, and twisting.

Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option.
