Job Summary
Lead a world-class technical support team as Supervisor at PACCAR Parts' 24/7/365 Vehicle Support Center (VSC). Based in Renton, Washington, you'll support 20+ high-performing VSC Specialists across three strategic locations—PACCAR Parts Renton, PACCAR North Texas, and PACCAR Parts India—driving operational excellence and maximizing vehicle uptime for our dealer network.
Responsibilities
- Coach, mentor, and develop employees to maximize performance while ensuring departmental training requirements, certifications, and regulatory standards are maintained.
- Support onboarding, training, and career development programs for VSC Specialists.
- Track, evaluate, and report daily, monthly, and annual performance metrics.
- Analyze operational trends and voice of the customer to optimize operations.
- Address team issues and remove roadblocks related to products, tools, and documentation by collaborating with other PACCAR divisions.
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives with data-driven decision making.
- Oversee the creation, review, updating, and publication of knowledge-base articles and standard work instructions.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with PACCAR divisions to improve vehicle diagnostics, support processes, and dealer technician efficiency.
- Lead support center tours for customers and PACCAR employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field required, MBA desired.
- 3+ years of experience in PACCAR or an equivalent industry and at least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Previous experience in powertrain diagnostics, vehicle diagnostics, and software technical experience preferred.
- Technical skills and ability to understand complex electrical and mechanical systems with the ability to identify customer needs and transform them into solutions.
- Exceptional communication, both verbally and written, with various levels of stakeholders within and outside of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, and performance management skills.
- Advanced ability utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to gather and analyze data, identify areas of opportunity and deliver improvements.
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with changing schedules and requirements.
- Comprehensive understanding of PACCAR Systems including TCS365, RMI, PVP, and DAVIE4 preferred.
- Six Sigma process knowledge required.
