Vehicle Service Attendant - Truck Rental - Corpus Christi

Enterprise Truck Rental Division is seeking a Full Time Vehicle Service Attendant (VSA) in Corpus Christi, TX. This role involves cleaning, detailing, and performing light maintenance and inspections on a diverse fleet of Medium-Duty trucks.

Pay

$15.50 / hour

Schedule

• Sunday: Off
• Monday: Off
• Tuesday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Wednesday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Thursday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Saturday: 9:00am - 12:00pm

This position does not allow for any other paid employment (no moonlighting).

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle interior and exterior, including windshields, windows, and mats
• Drive various vehicles safely and efficiently on and off the lot, assisting with local vehicle deliveries and miscellaneous duties
• Check and maintain fluid levels on all vehicles
• Notify manager of any potential unsafe equipment, conditions, or vehicle problems
• Perform basic maintenance such as checking tire pressure, fluids, replacing marker lights, and lift gates
• Keep work area, tools, and equipment organized and in clean working condition
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be able to read and speak English
• Must have been licensed to drive for a minimum of one year
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol-related convictions (e.g., DUI/DWI) on driving record in the past 5 years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
• Must have six (6) consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience

DOT Requirements

• All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and qualified to drive under D.O.T. regulations
• Applicants will be required to submit an appropriate medical examiner’s certificate or successfully complete a D.O.T. medical examination
• Obtained DOT medical certificate must be valid for at least 12 months
