About the Position
We are currently seeking a Local CDL A Truck Driver to join our team in Summerville, South Carolina. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $25 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours. The driver will be responsible for delivering packaging materials locally and on long-haul shuttles, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
Job Details
- Route Type: Local and long-haul shuttle – Day trips to locations such as Athens, GA, Charlotte, NC, and Savannah, GA
- Freight: Packaging materials
- Equipment: Manual 10-speed truck, Freightliner with ELDs
- Handling: Light touch
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL A driving experience
- Class A and DOT Medical Card
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Experience with Class A Dry Van or Reefer
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
