Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize a network of vehicle storage and marshalling locations, ensuring alignment with capacity, geographic coverage, cost efficiency, and security standards.
  • Lead end-to-end vendor management, including sourcing, onboarding, contracting, and oversight of transportation, inspection, and storage partners.
  • Drive vendor performance through SLAs, KPIs, and scorecards, ensuring achievement of cost, quality, and cycle time objectives.
  • Oversee high-volume vehicle inventory across the remarketing lifecycle, ensuring accurate tracking, timely processing, and readiness for sale.
  • Direct logistics planning and execution, including routing, capacity management, and load optimization to minimize dwell time and transportation costs.
  • Ensure the safety, security, and regulatory compliance of vehicle assets, mitigating risk across storage, transit, and vendor operations.
  • Establish and standardize operating procedures, driving consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency across all vehicle handling activities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with remarketing, servicing, risk, and auction partners to align logistics execution with recovery and sales objectives.
  • Monitor performance metrics and manage expenses, leveraging data to drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience managing multi-site or vendor-operated remarketing operations, with accountability for process compliance, operational performance, and asset quality.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a captive finance, automotive, or similar high-volume remarketing environment, with demonstrated expertise in vehicle liquidation, logistics and supply chain operations, and execution of operational strategies to drive performance, efficiency, and recovery outcomes.
  • Familiarity with auto finance systems, lease management software, and financial processing tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to partner cross-functionally, manage vendor relationships, and deliver a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized and analytical, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines; proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in captive finance and auction industry operations.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Required: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s or four-year college degree in business or related field.
  • Required Minimum of five (5) years of experience developing a strategic vision in high-volume Remarketing venues.
  • Preferred Certified Automotive Remarketer (CAR) certification.

Physical Demands

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, with flexible shifts and occasional weekend requirements.
  • An applicant must be authorized to work in the United States to be eligible for this position.
