Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Vehicle Mechanical Engineer for our Vehicle Engineering Practice in Natick, MA. This role involves supporting consulting projects related to transportation accidents, mechanical failures, and product design. The ideal candidate will develop specialized expertise in automotive technology or accident reconstruction.

  • Manage projects from initiation to completion

  • Communicate project updates to team members, clients, and administrative staff

  • Ensure adherence to deadlines and exceptional work product

  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities

  • Execute various test programs, including full-scale vehicle tests and component evaluations

  • Develop specialized expertise in automotive technology or accident reconstruction

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or Master’s degree (M.S. or M.Eng.) in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering with 1+ years of relevant work experience

  • Familiarity with automotive systems and an interest in vehicle technology

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Demonstrated experience in technical or scholarly writing

  • Hands-on experience in garage, workshop, field, or laboratory environments

  • Knowledge of dynamics, mechanical design, and 3D CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Rhino3D preferred)

  • P.E. license or willingness to obtain one

  • Versatile, team-oriented, and willing to work overtime and travel

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven dedication to quality and accuracy
